Thirteen years ago a song was released which addressed many of the insecurities that we all feel. It dispensed advice and explained that whilst ultimately our existence wouldn’t change, we could do something to feel better about ourselves. The song itself was based on an article called “Advice, like youth, probably just wasted on the young” written by Mary Schmich in 1997 and reading the lyrics are hauntingly familiar all these years later!
